Anita Okere is an experienced barrister, with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Babcock University. She is currently enrolled in a Master of Laws – LLM Human Right Advocacy program at the University of East London, and expects to graduate in 2021-2022. Anita has extensive experience as a human rights lawyer, advocating for people’s right to access justice. She has been involved in various initiatives such as teaching legal seminars to youths in underserved communities and setting up legal clinics to offer pro bono services to those in need. Her main goal is to ensure that all members of society have the same opportunity for equal justice. As well as her advocacy work, she regularly volunteers with several charitable organizations dedicated to providing support for vulnerable populations. Anita is committed to making a difference through her work and is constantly looking for ways to expand her reach within her community.
